mIRC LiveJournal Client
Version 2.0.0 of mIRC-LJ is now available for download from the mIRC-LJ site, and soon it should be on the LiveJournal client download page.
Here's the new features list straight out of the docs:
- Complete recode from scratch (other than the GUI!):
- Now much more modular
- More easily expandable to make addition of new
features in the future easier.
- Length limit bug fixed.
- Now supports "Current Music" with auto-detection
- "Strip Newlines" replaced by "Don't Autoformat", which
sets the metadata flag rather than just removing the newlines
- Added support for disallowing comments to a specific entries.
- Added HTTPinfo plugin
I decided not to implement the multiple userpic feature yet, but to wait until the mood selection stuff is implemented since they are related functions.

Re: Mac version
A Mac verion of mIRC-LJ, or of LiveJournal Client generally?
There's a Mac LiveJournal client available, and another supposedly much better one called LizardJuice
in development. I don't know much more than that.
As for mIRC-LJ, since mIRC
doesn't (to my knowledge) exist for MacOS, no. I might, in the future, write LJ clients for other IRC clients with scripting languages, but since I've not seen a Mac for at least five years I can't really do anything on that front at this time. Sorry.

Re: Mac version
Yes I have the Mac LiveJornal client, but I don't use it. I like the web update better.
I'm a big fan of irc. I hope you find the time to do a mac version, but if you don't I understand.
